Includes a variety of Multiple Yoga classes, sacred Gong meditation , campfire meditation, Nature Walk mediation and Hike at the beautiful oceanfront Halibut State Park. Gathering around the fireside in the evenings for meditation, chanting, and girl talk, Sunset meditation, beach yoga, Swim at one of the many local beaches or for a special treat- quarry swim. Bring your bike to ride along the shores of Rockport and Gloucester. Curl up with a good book in the sun or shade, join in for an art workshop, explore the grounds of Windhover Retreat Center. Ignite your inner sparkle by releasing stored tension and emotional baggage through the magical healing properties of yoga , fresh ocean air and meditation. Gather up your girlfriends and join us! Windhover Retreat Center was created in 1968 as a dance camp by the late renowned dancer Ina Hahn and her husband Hugh. Their daughter, Lisa Hahn continues to run Windhover and opens the retreat center to those in the arts. We have three beautiful yoga studios available to us for our use as well as a shaded outdoor studio space. Windhover is set on 5 acres of farmland in scenic, seaside Rockport, MA, and is located next to Halibut Point State Park. You will experience inner peace and serenity instantly upon your arrival. We are blessed to have this opportunity to practice our yoga together in this amazing location. I welcome all of you to a weekend of bliss and nature as its best. Cabins are shared with double or triples, please bring your own bedding, including towels. (Bedding is available for a small fee). Please note these are cabins not hotel rooms (hence the low cost of retreat)- restrooms and showers are located in community building. If you never experienced camp as a child, this is your chance! It's kind of like a camp for women with yoga, outdoor activities, art class, laughing, fireside gatherings, girl talk!
